Top 5 Things to do with Kids in Boston

Anytime is a great time to get out and discover all that Boston has to offer. One of the most popular destinations for families with kids is the Boston Museum of Science, which is full of mind-expanding exhibits and activities for everyone to explore.

Boston Museum of Science

Parents and children alike will marvel at the exhibits at the Boston Museum of Science. From dinosaurs and natural history to space exploration and engineering, there’s something for everyone to learn about. And if you’re a local, a membership is well worth the cost, as it includes 2 hours of free parking per visit, guest passes, and tickets to see IMAX movies and planetarium shows.

Two of the most popular exhibits for kids are the musical staircase called Soundstair and the interactive playground at Science in the Park. At Soundstair, kids can jump and dance on the steps to create their own music. And at Science in the Park, they can learn about momentum, mechanical advantage, and harmonic motion through interactive activities like swinging on a giant swing and racing a row of lights.
